Drake spotted supporting ‘secret ex-girlfriend’ Serena Williams at Wimbledon

Drake has been spotted supporting his rumoured ex-girlfriend Serena Williams at Wimbledon’s Centre Court on Tuesday afternoon.

The Canadian rapper started from the bottom but now he’s here at SW19 watching the tennis legend in her singles quarter-final against Italy’s Camila Giorgi.

Drake became a friend of Williams back in 2011 when he began supporting her from the stands and they are believed to have played tennis together before striking up an on-off relationship for several years.

The ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker still seems to be on good terms with the 39-time Grand Slam champion, now married to Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian, as he proudly watched her come from behind against Giorgi.

Williams clinched an ultimately smooth 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory over the world number 52 to set up a semi-final with Julia Goerges.

Drake couldn’t help looking proud as he sat among the Williams entourage and sipped Pimm’s with Serena vying for her eighth Wimbledon singles title and her first since welcoming baby Alexis last autumn.

In fact, he mentions Williams on his track ‘Worst Behaviour’ from ‘Nothing Was The Same’.

Appearing to confirm the whispers that they were spending a lot of time together, he rapped: "I’m with my whole set / Tennis matches at the crib / I swear I could beat Serena when she playin’ with her left."

Cool as usual, Drake matched the classic Wimbledon colours in his green hoodie featuring gold lettering and white trainers.

Fellow North American star Justin Timberlake was also photographed taking in the action, which included Angelique Kerber’s victory over Daria Kasatkina, raising the possibility of a dance-off on Centre Court.

As Drake would say, ‘What A Time To Be Alive.’
