The Spaniard sadly lost his battle with cancer four years ago today.
Barca tweeted: "Four years without Tito Vilanova.
"Your legacy will live on forever."
Vilanova, who died at 45, won La Liga in his one season in charge at the Nou Camp in 2012-13.
He was reserve team assistant coach between 2007 and 2008 and worked with the senior squad from 2008.
In December 2012, Barcelona announced that Vilanova was suffering from parotid gland cancer for the second time, having been diagnosed in November the previous year.
He underwent surgery that month and went through a gruelling six-week chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment.
Amazingly, Vilanova returned to the Barca bench in March 2013 but resigned in July after relapsing.
He passed away the following April.
