While on the last leg of the promotional tour in London ahead of the richest ever fight, the famous boxer made no secret of his love of bling
The fans may have been against the US fighter, but one thing no-one inside the SSE Wembley Arena could compete with was his bags of money.
Mayweather owns this garish diamond-encrusted £1m Hublot watch
The American fighter wasted no time in shoving the timepiece in McGregor’s face at Wembley
And in a bid to silence the heavy pro-Irish crowd during the final stretch of the promotional tour ahead of their richest ever fight, he flashed his £1million diamond-encrusted Hublot watch right in McGregor’s face.
Having bought the timepiece in Dubai in December 2015, it is his boasting implement of choice at PR events – and wasted no time shoving it in his opponent’s direction.
During the heated press conference with the fight in Las Vegas on August 26, five-time world champion Mayweather told the UFC star: “You’re a microwave meal with a cheap-a** watch on – step your game up.”
Then, pointing to his outrageous watch, he said: “$1.4m, b****.”
That was not even the half of 40-year-old Mayweather’s collection, with an array of garish chains around his neck and wrist to accompany his tiger-print top.
He is worth a huge £270million, having equalled Rocky Marciano’s record of 49 matches unbeaten when he beat Andre Berto on points in 2015.

McGregor is worth just £27m in comparison – but both fighters are set to net a huge £78m from the fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas next month.
Aside from the cash, Mayweather will want to be the first boxer ever to be undefeated in 50 fights – although the trash talk has taken an unsavoury turn with the American accusing the Irishman of racism – while himself using a homophobic slur.
