Fulham want to sign Brighton goalkeeper Tim Krul on a free transfer

The 6ft 4in Dutchman, 30, is ready to agree a deal with the Premier League new-boys and compete for a first-team spot.

Krul was at Brighton last season but finished behind Mat Ryan.

He has been asked to stay but wants to play.

Brighton are in talks to sign David Button from Fulham to fill Krul’s understudy role.

Fulham switched to Krul after Dean Henderson chose a £25,000-a-week deal at Manchester United which will rise.

Brighton boss Chris Hughton is ready to move for versatile  Manchester City prospect Kean Bryan, 21.

Bryan spent last season on loan at Oldham but the Seagulls want to fill a defensive gap left by Connor Goldson’s sale to Rangers.

Bryan scored two goals in 37 appearances for Oldam last season.
