The ITV entertainment reporter showed he had nerves of steel on today’s show
GOOD Morning Britain's Richard Arnold proved a jungle king in the making as he bravely lay in a box while 20 pythons slithered over his face as he completed Georgia Toffolo's terrifying I'm A Celebrity Bushtucker trial.
The Made in Chelsea beauty completed the slimy feat earlier this week – with two extra snakes added to the mix for good measure.
Shortly after her nine minutes of courage, fans of the show called for her to be crowned winner.
And entertainment reporter Richard proved anything Toff could do, he could do too.
He told the camera he had "got such a bead on" as he sweated in anticipation.
Shortly after, he lay on his back in the perspex cube before it was hoisted into the air.
GMB viewers were glued to their screens as the reptiles – which included jungle pythons and albino pythons – hissed their way around before one cheeky creature put its head close to Richard's.
The trial organiser quipped: "He's just coming to say hello," as Richard squealed in fear.
He also warned the menacing bunch not to go near his manhood "at least until you've bought me a drink first."
Managing to keep his composure through the ordeal, Richard emerged with the reward of five stars – which represent meals for camp in the ITV show.
Fans were quick to praise the 48-year-old's efforts with one posting on Twitter: "Omg!! @RichardAArnold you were amazing at that challenge!!
"You barely flinched #richardforimaceleb #australia #snakes 🐍"
Another posted: "@RichardAArnold having seen the trial you have to do in full, I can see why you could not scream Dickie. Carry on absolutely fabulous DU! x"
Meanwhile, a third followed up with: "Ha ha @RichardAArnold your screams are so high pitched 😱😂😂🤣."
