Harry Kane injured against Bournemouth as Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino admits he is 'concerned' ahead of scan on Monday

Manager Mauricio Pochettino admitted after the 4-1 win that he is "concerned" – with Kane set to undergo a scan on Monday.

The England ace watched his side go a goal down before picking up an injury severe enough for him to ignore the bench and zoom straight down the tunnel, missing Dele Alli’s equaliser.

Kane converted a cross from the right wing as Cherries keeper Asmir Begovic leapt out to narrow the angle.

The England ace – due to be called up by Gareth Southgate next week – slotted the ball home but was flagged offside and the goal was disallowed.

And things got worse for Tottenham when their homegrown hero took an age to get up and failed to run-off his ankle problem.

Speaking after the win Pochettino admitted he was worried.

He said: "I am concerned but until after tomorrow we can say nothing more.

"I worry about him and his ankle, we hope it is not a massive issue for him and the team and he can recover asap and be available.

Spurs moved above Liverpool with a 4-1 win.

After Alli's equaliser, Son Heung-Min continued his fine run of form by bundling in at the far post.

The South Korean then took his tally for the season to 16 with a late goal, rounding Asmir Begovic to provide a cool finish as the Cherries pushed up the pitch.

Serge Aurier scored a late goal, his second for the club, to Spurs leapfrog the Reds after their defeat at bitter rivals Liverpool.
