MARKO ARNAUTOVIC kept the Hammers bandwagon rolling with a star-studded return to action.
The West Ham midfielder was back after missing last week’s draw at Spurs with a hamstring tweak.
And what a performance he dished up, scoring one and teeing up the other three, as David Moyes’ men kept their sparkling recent run going.
No side outside the top five has taken more points than them over the last eight games – and with spirit like they showed in West Yorkshire, it is easy to see why.
They went ahead on 25 minutes, after a dead ball mix up between keeper Jonas Lossl and midfielder Joe Lolley.
Lossl should never have given it to him in such a tight area, yet Lolley’s heavy touch didn’t help and Arnautovic pounced to stick in a toe.
That teed up Mark Noble, who drove in at the near post from just inside the box to set the scene for a remarkable win.
Lolley made amends five minutes before the break, drifting inside from the right as West Ham stood off, before curling a superb finish into the opposite corner.
Yet that merely stung the Hammers into action and just 11 SECONDS after the break they were ahead once again.
This time Arnautovic was the scorer, skipping past Tommy Smith with two flicks of his right foot, and then burying a finish with his left past Lossl.
It was such a quickfire strike even Sir Alex Ferguson, a guest of Huddersfield, hadn’t retaken his seat in the stand after his half-time prawn sarnie.
At least he was firmly back in position for the next two, both from Manuel Lanzini, in a three-minute burst.
First Arnautovic’s flick set up the Argentine to strike a low finish into the corner, Smith just about playing the Hammers striker onside.
Then his bullocking run from halfway was ended when Chris Schindler hustled him off the ball, only for Lanzini to mop up by finding the roof of the net to wrap it up.
