The camp is due to be hit by bad weather in the next few days, meaning the start of filming could be thrown into chaos
I'M A Celebrity's famous shower scenes may be in jeopardy as a plague of blood-sucking bugs could be about to invade the set.
Incoming bad weather may render the waterfall area, where the contestants usually shower, a no-go area, as the creek becomes infested with leeches.
The Daily Star reports that the crew are anticipating the camp's location to be battered by wet weather during the first few days of filming.
The bloodsucking creatures are tempted out by this, and it means that the waterfall shower – made famous thanks to the bevy of bikini-clad contestants who've lathered up in it – would be out of bounds some days.
This is because the creek on the set becomes infested with leeches during damp and cool weather.
The waterfall shower has become famous thanks to the likes of Myleene Klass and Vicki Pattison donning their bikinis to enjoy a wash.
The news of potential problems comes just days before the 2017 edition of the show kicks-off on Sunday.
The initial line-up for this year's show has been confirmed and will see a mixed bag of stars heading into the outback.
The female contestants are WAG Rebekah Vardy, MIC's Georgia Toffolo, Corrie's Jennie McAlpine, The Saturdays singer Vanessa White, and comedian Shappi Khorsandi.
They will be joined by Stanley Johnson (father to Boris), boxer Amir Khan, Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas, YouTuber Jack Maynard, and ex-Chelsea star Denis Wise.
Back to present the show are TV faves Ant and Dec, while Scarlett Moffatt and Joel Dommett have been lined-up alongside Joe Swash to present spin-off show Extra Camp.
