Liverpool have joined Tottenham in the race to sign Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
That is according to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, who say the 25-year-old, who has attracted interest from across Europe, could be available for as little as £12million.
The 32-cap Croatia international has made just seven starts for Inter so far this term and Jurgen Klopp is believed to be an admirer of the player.
Liverpool have cash to spend following the £142million sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
Reds handed Henderson boost
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been handed a boost ahead of his side’s trip to Swansea on Monday, as skipper Jordan Henderson has returned to training after injury.
Henderson has not played for the Reds since picking up a hamstring problem in their 3-3 draw with Arsenal before Christmas.
But the midfield leader returned to action on Thursday at Liverpool’s Melwood training facility and looks to be in contention for a place in the squad for Monday’s clash.
The 27-year-old was ever-present for his team prior to injury, making 23 appearances already this season.

United leading Liverpool in Seri chase
Manchester United are leading a four-way Premier League chase for £35million Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri.
United, Liverpool and Chelsea are all looking at the Ivory Coast central midfielder, with Manchester City also poised to join the chase.
Seri was set to join Barcelona last summer but that deal fell through, while Paris St Germain have been unable to sign him due to Financial Fair Play restrictions.
The 26-year-old has a €40m – £35m – release clause in his Nice contract, which has 18 months left to run, and is set to spark a scramble for his signature this summer.
