It is understood a number of first-team players are upset over Mourinho’s recent comments about PSG
MANCHESTER UNITED’S training ground is “like a morgue” with the atmosphere the “lowest since Jose Mourinho arrived”.
The Red Devils lost their first Premier League match of the season on Saturday, a 2-1 defeat at lowly Huddersfield.
United’s recent performances have also been below par, drawing at rivals Liverpool and scraping a win at Benfica.
And insiders at their Carrington complex have revealed how their top stars have taken the poor run badly.

A United source said: “The atmosphere at the training ground is the lowest it has been since Jose joined the club.
“Something isn’t right. We wonder whether his comments about Paris and not staying long term has also had an impact.
“The players have been pretty quiet since the Liverpool game and a lot less banter has been going on.
“It’s dropped off a cliff since Huddersfield. Not having Pogba’s presence is always not going to help, as he is so bubbly.
“The canteen is like a morgue and there is certainly a feeling that the manager is ready to tell a few home truths.”
United sit second in the Premier League after a strong, but not convincing start to the campaign.
Mourinho’s men are already five points behind bitter rivals Manchester City with eight games gone.
The ex-Chelsea chief was left fuming after their defeat at Huddersfield, as he blasted his flops for a shocking performance.
