With just three months of the Premier League season remaining, rumoured kit designs for next season are beginning to leak.
For Arsenal, home kit designs are pretty much the same every year – but they’ve had something of a mixed bag when it comes to away kits in years gone by.
You need look no further than the current campaign to see an example of that in action with the horrendous blue away kit in start contrast to the majesty of the north Londoners’ black and pink third strip, report football.london.
Unfortunately, next season is already looking like it could be host to maybe the worst Arsenal kit of all-time.
While we hope that this is not true, the usually reliable Footy Headlines have got their hands on what they claim are pictures of the Gunners’ third kit collection for next season.
No, that’s not your monitor acting up – that is the actual design. According to the description, the colours are "biscay green and peacot", which is just a fancy way of saying the colour of your sick after you drink too many shamrock shakes on St Patrick’s Day.
Hopefully the club will see sense and cancel these designs before they get to do any damage to an actual person’s eyeballs but the recent trend of purposely gaudy alternate kits doesn’t fill us with hope.
We will have to wait until presumably the summer to find out for sure what next season’s strip will be, although is seems highly likely that it will be based off Puma’s evoKNIT 2018 World Cup template, as the above kit is.
Do you like the leaked Arsenal third kit?
