The Brazilian superstar, 26, is currently on the sidelines as he recovers from surgery on his metatarsal.
Neymar had originally been tipped to be in for a real battle to be ready for this summer's tournament, but appears to be making good progress.
In a video posted on his Instagram, Neymar – still wearing a cast and on crutches – aims a left-footed pass to his son Davi Lucca.
The six-year-old kicks the ball in the air when it comes to him and Neymar uses his heavily-protected right foot to control it.
The video is the first time Neymar has been filmed kicking a ball since he injured his fifth metatarsal against Marseille on February 25.
The 26-year-old is expected to return to the French capital in May to continue his rehabilitation.
He recently told reporters in his native Brazil: "I am going to have enough time to get to the World Cup and prepare myself.
