The boy band triumphed in the live final over the weekend
DESPITE winning the X Factor over the weekend and signing a record contract worth thousands, one member of Rak-Su still hasn’t quit his job.
Speaking in the aftermath of their huge win in the show’s grand final, Mustafa said that he still hadn’t quit his zero-hours contract working at a hotel – admitting that he “may have to make a little phone call”.
Sitting down with the Daily Mirror alongside his bandmates, the Watford-born star revealed that the band hadn’t been hedging their bets when it came to their victory.
Revealing he was still technically employed by the hotel business he’d been working at before the group made it into the competition, Mustafa told the newspaper: “I was put on a zero- hours contract so technically I am still working there. There may have to be a little phone call.”
His bandmate Jamaal also revealed he’d worked as a neuro-physio assistant in the NHS on a zero-hours contract.
