Brutal rematch between the Northern Irishman and Polish 26-year-old Mateusz Gamrot descended into chaos after the bout was declared a no-contest due to two eye pokes
CHAOS descended on KSW Dublin on Sunday night as Norman Parke was socked his opponent’s cornerman.
The ugly scenes marred the end of the rematch between the Northern Irish MMA star and Mateusz Gamrot.
The clash itself was a brutal affair with both men coming forward aggressively.
However, the contest was stopped by the official due to two eye pokes.
It was the 26-year-old Pole Gamrot who was the guilty party.
His first eye poke occurred in the first round and he was guilty of it again in the second.
Gamrot’s final one caused Parke to instantly drop to the canvas clutching his eye.
And that led to the referee Marc Goddard stopping the fight for the doctors to assess the 30-year-old Irish grappler.
The official declared the bout a no-contest, leading to all hell breaking loose.
The hatred between the two camps reared its head as tensions after the fight were ramped up.
And that saw Parker get smacked by Gamrot’s cornerman after the fighter had shoved another member of the Polish team.
Parke was furious after being struck and it was only the intervention of security that stopped things from escalating further.
Parke told MMA Uno: “First of all he confronted me, I said ‘come on to f**k man’.
“I said ‘Come on man, poke in the eye, ye are all negative as f**k like’.
“The first guy touch gloves, but Boris was like ‘What are you saying? You talk s**t’.
“I told him to get out of my face, don’t confront me… and then that wee rat man, who’s one of them schoolboys that punches you in the back, he threw me a sneaky punch.”

“But I’ll tell you what I think my wee boy could have hit harder than that and this guy is a fighter.”
He added: “He’s banned now for a couple of shows so we won’t be seeing his wee face for a while. It just kicked off.”
