The X Factor mogul looks like he is back to full health as he spends time with his family – as his adorable son Eric, stole the spotlight
SIMON Cowell looked the picture of health at Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland with partner Lauren Silverman and their son Eric – just weeks after being rushed to hospital after fainting and falling in his home.
The family held hands as they enjoyed an evening out together, and while Simon, 58, and Lauren, 40, put on stylish displays in their matching puffa jackets and jeans, it was little three-year-old Eric who stole the show.
The little lad looked adorable in his black coat and long grey scarf, with a matching grey woolly hat that occasionally fell over his eyes, and looked to be loving his night out with his parents.
Simon looks to be back to full health following being rushed to hospital last month after fainting and taking a tumble at his London home while fetching some milk.
The dad-of-one later admitted to The Sun that he thought he'd "broken his neck" and was forced to miss the first two X Factor live shows while he recovered – and also dramatically change his lifestyle.
Simon, who used to smoke up to 80 cigarettes a day, has since vowed to begin taking better care of himself and has dramatically slashed his nasty habit.
Speaking to Now magazine, Simon admitted: "I've cut down smoking to two [cigarettes] a day. That's it!"
As for booze, Simon once confessed to downing a vodka at 1-2am to "spark creativity".
But it seems that ritual has also gone by the wayside since his frightening fall.
He added: "I'm just eating [and drinking] water."
Simon was alone with Eric when his accident happened.
Pictures showed the star being stretchered out of his London home in a neck brace, before returning on his feet several hours later.
Speaking to The Sun about the horrific incident, he said: “Sometimes we get a reminder that we’re not invincible and this was certainly mine. It was a huge shock.
"They think I fainted because I had low blood pressure and so I have got to really take good care of myself to sort that out.
“After all I am a dad and have more responsibility than ever.”
