The Strictly judge has warned that the singer needs to “pull her socks up” ahead of this weekend’s show.
STRICTLY judge Craig Revel Horwood has branded Mollie King the worst remaining contestant on this year’s show.
Despite her pop career, the 52-year-old dancer said that The Saturdays star has “no natural dance ability” and claimed she needs to “pull her socks up” ahead of this weekend’s show.
Tough-talking Craig didn’t mince his words, telling the Radio Times: “She just doesn’t have natural ability and that’s hard to overcome. I think she could, but it’ll take double the work of everybody else.”
But the critique didn’t end there, as Craig admitted the singer’s celebrity competitors are putting her to shame.
He added: “She’s awkward and wooden. She really needs to pull her socks up because she’s lagging behind.”
Mollie was nearly sent home the week before last, after she and dance partner AJ Pritchard were forced to battle it out against Aston Merrygold and Janette Manrara in the dance-off.
While the odds might be stacked against her, Mollie will join the remaining contestants in Blackpool this weekend, where the dancers will take to the floor of the iconic Tower Ballroom.
However, the pressure will certainly be on as the final nine dancers get one step closer to the coveted Glitter Ball trophy.
Alexandra Burke, Debbie McGee, Gemma Atkinson and Brian Conley are among the stars still fighting for the title.
Last weekend saw Ruth Langsford booted off the show due to her lacklustre foxtrot.
Seemingly finding it hard without the This Morning host, Mollie shared a snap of the pair hugging after her elimination was announced on Tuesday night.
“Missing you Ruthie! Who can i run to now for a minute of madness when i can’t get the steps in rehearsals!? ?❤️ @ruthlangsford #RehearsalBuddies #Strictly #Laugh’,” she captioned the heartfelt snap.
