CHELSEA fans have started to turn on Tiemoue Bakayoko after his dismal display against West Ham.
Bakayoko has struggled to find his best form since making at £40million move to Stamford Bridge last summer.
And the French midfielder’s woes continued when he was hauled at half-time after going missing in the opening 45 minutes against West Ham.
The 23-year-old was replaced by Pedro as Antonio Conte decided enough was wnough with his team trailing 1-0 at the break at the London Stadium.
And his insipid performance against the relegation threatened Hammers did not go down with some sections of the Chelsea fanbase.
Plenty took to social media to voice their frustration at the way the former Monaco has been playing this season.
And others question the wisdom of selling Nemanja Matic to Manchester United, or to allow Ruben Loftus-Cheek to spend the campaign on loan at Crystal Palace.
@TalkOfTheBridge wrote on Twitter: “Bakayoko has only had one good game for us. Turned up against United to make Matic look like a donkey and then hasn’t bothered ever since.”
And @TailoredConte said: “Bakayoko has now cost us three goals. I’ll never rest until he’s sold and we bring back a proper baller like Ruben Loftus-Cheek.”
