Tottenham to have most expensive season ticket in Premier League at £2,200… and fans are NOT happy

The club have revealed that they will have the most expensive season tickets in the Premier League… with the highest costing a whopping £2,200.

For the cheapest season ticket, an adult will need to pay £795, excluding domestic cup matches but it remains in just one tiny section of the stadium.

Spurs hope to have their new 62,000 capacity stadium ready for the beginning of next season after playing the entirety of their home matches this campaign at Wembley Stadium.

In the south stand, the largest out of the four, the cheapest ticket starts at £875 with the most expensive topping £1,995.

The £2,200 season tickets allow access to the private bar and complimentary food.

Prices are split into four categories from junior, young adult, senior and adult prices.

The junior tickets range from £397.50 with the costliest reaching £562.50.

Unsurprisingly the prices are a raise on this season's figures.

Their cheapest season ticket started at £645 with their most expensive reaching £1700.

And supporters are far from happy with the changes and believe they are being priced out of the game.

One said: "Hahaha welcome home… pricing fans out of the game, nice one."

Another replied: "Welcome to new stadiums chum, get used to it… ££££"

One Spurs fan sarcastically said: "No wonder you didn't tell the Supporter's Trust what was coming. We all expected an increase but I think you've 'succeeded' in making that increase higher than even the most pessimistic expected. Nice one Tottenham.
