The Portuguese gaffer took the first big hit of the Old Firm game from his own player at Ibrox
The Rangers boss was on the receiving end of a Josh Windass tackle after the English winger battled with Mikael Lustig for possession.
Windass took out Caixinha with a slide tackle
Windass, who has started the season in fine form under Caixinha, was felled by the Hoops right-back and failed to get out the way of his gaffer.
However, the former Sporting Lisbon coach showed how to take a hit as he bounced straight back up onto his feet following the fall.
It’s the first Old Firm derby of the season today as the Bhoys look to stretch their domestic unbeaten run to 57 games.
A win for the Gers will cut the gap between the city rivals to two points with Brendan Rodgers’ men sitting top of the Scottish Premiership.
If Rodgers can claim victory today it will be the first time since 2004 that Celtic have won three games in a row at Ibrox.
Pedro has failed to win in the two Glasgow derbies he has managed in as he looks to reverse the 5-1 Ibrox defeat from last season and you can follow the match here.
