Wrestlemania 34: Lionel Messi lookalike wins shock WWE tag-team title and fans are loving it

Nicholas, ten, was randomly picked out of the 70,000-strong crowd at the Superdome in New Orleans to partner Braun Strowman against The Bar.

The youngster, whose long, brown hair and stature are similar to that of a young Messi, came as a huge shock to the world of wrestling with earlier talk of a superstar tag-team partner for Strowman.

Although some fans joked that is exactly what they got with five-time Ballon d'Or winner 'Messi'.

And the Barcelona icon has now officially won his battle with arch-rival Cristiano Ronaldo to be considered the greatest of all time, according to hysterical supporters.

'Messi' proved to be a stunning success as he held his own against Cesaro while being trash talked by him and partner Sheamus.

But Nicholas left the heavy lifting to Strowman and let the Monster Among Men get to work.

After some early trouble, the giant regained the upperhand with a double cross body before flinging Sheamus out of the ring.
