Jose Mourinho has dropped a huge hint Zlatan Ibrahimovic will play for Manchester United again
The Swede is now a free agent after his one-year deal at United expired at the beginning of June.
He has been continuing his recovery at United’s Carrington training ground from an ACL knee injury sustained at the end of last season.
The 35-year-old has been doing extensive gym work and is looking ripped in the Instagram post. His account – @iamzlatanibrahimovic – has over 26 million followers.
The six-feet-five striker’s comeback remains ahead of schedule and he is hoping to secure a new deal at United for the new season.
United have already signed Romelu Lukaku for an initial £75million this summer.
But Mourinho has hinted the talismanic forward will be back as part of the squad within six months.

The United chief said: “We spent big money on a striker because, with strikers, you either spend or you don’t get.
“We spent because of what happened to Zlatan and we cannot allow ourselves to be without an important, strong striker for the first six months of the season.”
Paul Pogba has also dropped a huge hint that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will rejoin Manchester United after saying he is still the “leader” of the club’s dressing-room.
The French star said: “Obviously Zlatan is a leader, always a big leader, and he’s a big leader because he’s still in the team. Even though he’s not playing he’s a leader outside of the pitch.”

Meanwhile, Swedish photographer Bingo Rimers has done the impossible – inflated Ibrahimovic’s ego even more than it already is.
The striker’s face is the central figure on the 1,000 Swedish Krona note as he secures legendary status for his country.
He posted a picture of himself on Instagram posing with the humongous work of art.
As if that wasn’t enough, he added in the caption: “You have Benjamin Franklin and you have me”.
