Digital Spy spent some time with Alien: Covenant star Demián Bichir recently, and the actor / potential xenomorph fodder was full of praise for his director Ridley Scott.
“He’s a noble man, he’s a wonderful artist. He loves his actors, and he believes in collaboration, you know? He calls the best talent in every department, so we can all tell the same story.”

Bichir has starred in films and television shows including Weeds, Che, A Better Life (for which he was Oscar nominated) and Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight, but his role as Sergeant Lope in Covenant is particularly special for the actor.
“Just the fact you’re a part of that mythology, part of that iconic name in film history, that alone is a gift, it’s a beautiful wonderful gift that I received,” Bichir told us.
