Amanda Holden has revealed why she and Alesha Dixon walked off stage during a mad performance on Britain’s Got Talent.
The BGT judge and her colleague were drenched by comedy inventor Marty Putz, who splashed a huge amount of water onto the judges before covering them in loo roll in his semi-final performance.
But Amanda has revealed she and Alesha did not "storm off" the stage in anger, but just didn’t want to be covered in bog roll.
In her spot co-hosting This Morning with Rylan Clark-Neal, he asked her whether she had "dried off" after the episode last night, but she joked her pants were still wet after she was drenched by Marty.
She said: "Do you know what I said last night to the producers – I said, ‘Tomorrow it will be furious Mandy storms off stage’, it’s like I wrote the headlines myself."
Rylan mentioned that she did storm off, but Amanda said: "Oh no it’s just we didn’t want bog roll on us, me and Alesha."
Amanda’s co-host kept begging for more answers, asking whether any of the judges knew what they were in for in Marty’s crazy performance.
When Rylan asked if Simon knew what was about tot happen, she responded: "No! No he would have been the one who left first because his hair is more precious to him than me.
"Alesha was absolutely drenched and her hair – she turned into Shaft by the end of the show.
"Apparently our glam squad, so my hair and make up people got texts two seconds before it happened saying ‘go and get towels’ and they legged it!"
She also revealed, despite her and Alesha’s glamorous looks, it’s actually not quite the same behind the scenes as they prepare for the stage "under a flyover," which according to the BGT judge "stinks of wee."
Amanda said the live shows are the highlight of her and the judge’s years, as they get to hang out together and get on "really well."
On who would be Amanda’s choice for the win, she said she wants her golden buzzer her star Gruffydd Wyn Roberts or the Diversity Juniors, DVJ.
Britain’s Got Talent continues with the last semi-final tonight from 7.30pm before the final on Sunday at 8pm on ITV.
