The reality queen says her businessman beau, Ritchie, is in no rush to pop the question, as she opens up on her baby news to OK magazine.
She said: "It was a really big shock. A little bit of me thought because it happened so soon after having Polly that I might have a miscarriage, as it’s happened to a lot of my friends.
"But I tried to be positive and thought if this happens then it’s meant to be."
The Towie girl said she plans to give birth in her natural habitat, Essex's Broomfield Hospital.
And Amy admits to being nervous about the pain of childbirth.
She added: "I want to do it naturally but I’m not ruling out an epidural.
"I’d never choose a Caesarean and I’d never have a home birth."
And she says new love Ritchie is happy to shun the public eye.
Amy added: "It’s so refreshing to be with someone like that.
"I’ve had boyfriends who’ve been fame hungry, so it’s nice to keep it separate."
When asked whether marriage was on the cards she said: "We’ve got the baby coming first, so I’ll let you know after that.
"We’ll see. There’s no rush."
