Another day, another revival – and this time it’s classic cartoon Animaniacs that’s getting the reboot treatment. Hello, everybody!
According to Entertainment Weekly, Wakko, Yakko and Dot – alongside Pinky and the Brain (!) – are finally returning to television for a brand new series expected to hit screens in 2020.
Amblin Television and Warner Bros Animation are on board to create the revival of the weirdly wonderful and much-loved series – so, what’s the catch?

Well for now, Animaniacs‘ next chapter will be shown on streaming service Hulu, which (at the moment, at least) is only available to viewers in the US. Dammit.
But that’s not the only bit of good news Hulu has, because the service has also announced that the original Animaniacs episodes, along with Pinky and the Brain and the complete Tiny Toon Adventures collection, are available to watch right now.
You can never have enough nostalgia, it seems.
In a new two-season deal, the Animaniacs revival will also involve original executive producer Steven Spielberg, who will work alongside Sam Register, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank.
Clearly just as excited as we are about the comeback, Hulu big boss Craig Erwich said he “cannot wait” for more Warner Bros water tower adventures.
“We cannot wait… to bring more sketches, catchphrases, songs, and laughs from the Animaniacs to kids and adults everywhere,” he said in a statement.
