Bachelor in Paradise is the perfect opportunity for past Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants to find love again. By throwing tons of attractive singles on a beach together, relationships are bound to form. But the real question is — who will actually be compatible with each other?
Now that we know who’s joined the cast, here’s who we think could actually become couples during Season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise.
Jordan Kimball and Krystal Nielson

It might sound crazy, but the two villains from the most recent seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette could complement each other perfectly. We got to know Krystal Nielson on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of The Bachelor, during which time she made enemies with every other female in the house.
Similarly, Jordan Kimball made his name known on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette as the male model who got on other contestants’ bad sides (namely David Ravitz’s, who has also joined Paradise). They could become one of the most hated couples from the show, but knowing Nielson and Kimball, they would probably love it.
Wills Reid and Bibiana Julian
Wills Reid’s kindness and openness made him a fan-favorite on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette. As sad as we were to see him go, our spirits were lifted once we found out he’d be joining the Paradise cast.
We’re predicting he’ll definitely find love in Mexico — hopefully with Bibiana Julian. She first joined Bachelor Nation on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of The Bachelor, and made another appearance on The Bachelor Winter Games.
The two are definitely opposites in terms of personality, with Reid being soft-spoken and Julian always saying what’s on her mind. However, their tempers could potentially balance each other out perfectly.
Tia Booth and Colton Underwood

OK, so Colton Underwood may still be a contender for Becca Kufrin’s heart on The Bachelorette — but we’re predicting that he doesn’t make it to the end. While he’s claimed to be over his former flame, Tia Booth, we aren’t so sure that’s the case. Booth, who appeared on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of The Bachelor, is set to appear in Paradise. It wouldn’t be unlike the franchise to have Underwood join last minute to stir things up.
Kevin Wendt and Astrid Loch
Kevin Wendt has been full of “almosts” during his time in the Bachelor franchise. He first appeared on The Bachelorette Canada in 2016, where he actually emerged as the winner. Wendt got engaged to hairstylist Jasmine Lorimer, but they called it off after five months.
When he returned on the Winter Games, he got pretty serious with Ashley Iaconetti. However, they split one month after the show ended, and Iaconetti has since become engaged to her former Paradise flame, Jared Haibon.
Hopefully, third time will be a charm for Wendt. We see him having a ton in common with Astrid Loch, who competed for Nick Viall’s love on The Bachelor. Wendt takes his fitness very seriously, while Loch won a “marathon” competition during her season. Their athletic similarities could be enough to at least get them on a date together.
‘Grocery Store Joe’ and Chelsea Roy

Oh, Grocery Store Joe. Bachelor Nation still isn’t over the fact that Becca Kufrin sent grocery store owner Joe Amabile home during the first night. We’ll be pulling for him to find love, as his charm and upbeat personality definitely suggest he’s there “for the right reasons.”
We could picture him hitting it off with Chelsea Roy, who started out as the villian on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of The Bachelor. However, it became apparent that she really was there “for the right reasons,” too. They’re both in their 30s, so they’re probably both serious about finding their life partners on the show.
If Grocery Store Joe doesn’t end up finding love on Paradise, the support he’s already received from Bachelor Nation makes us think he’s a contender for the next season of The Bachelor.
