Blind Date: One woman wears a WEDDING DRESS for her appearance [Channel 5]

Originally hosted by the late Cilla Black, Blind Date ran between 1985 and 2003 on ITV, matching up many singletons seeking love.
And after 13 years, the popular dating show is back on matchmaking duty.
The first episode features an array of contestants looking for a suitor and there is no shortage of characters to chat to Paul.

One woman – who features a few episodes in the the six-week run – dons a wedding dress as she sits down in the famous chair ready to choose Mr Perfect from behind a screen.
When asked to describe her ideal man, the Northerner stretches out her arms and replies “clearly, I’m very desperate”.
And viewers will have to wait to see if she does find her groom.
Northerner Debbie is the first to feature on the show and bravely opens up to the much-loved presenter about moving on from a tragic loss.

The insurance worker will have the choice from Ryan, JJ and Richard who sit the other side of the most famous partition in showbiz.
36 year old Ryan is keen to find a “normal” girl to “get off the dating carousel of craziness”.
Is Debbie that girl?
Next in the white chair is fitness salesman Damian who has a pretty impressive beard at eight inches long.

And it’s Charlotte who appears to be his best match, on paper, but will he choose her?
Blind Date returns on June 17 at 7pm on Channel 5.
