New series Jade will focus on the impact she had before and after her death at 27 in 2009.
It will not shy away from her career lows, such as the racism row she sparked after abusing her fellow Celebrity Big Brother contestant, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, in 2007.
A source said: “Jade’s life was full of ups and downs, and Channel 4 wants to celebrate the effect she had on reality TV. She was everywhere after her first Big Brother appearance in 2002.”
Film-maker Jonathan Smith, who worked with her in 2003 on Celebrity Wife Swap, said: “I want to make a series that tells the story of her celebrity and the indelible impression that Jade and reality television made on our culture.”
Jade will be screened in 2019.
Following the racism scandal, mum-of-two Jade appeared on India’s version of Big Brother, and it was while on the show she heard of her cervical cancer diagnosis.
Publicity surrounding her illness provoked a review of NHS policies on age limits for screening women for the disease, credited with saving thousands of lives.

Kem's got Kendall's number
SHE may have been unlucky in love in the Love Island villa, but dumped contestant Kendall Rae-Knight’s life has been full of romance since she came back home.
Last year’s winner Kem Cetinay whisked her away for a date on Monday night after swapping numbers with her the day before on ITV2 spin-off Aftersun.
It obviously went very well as, after spending hours chatting at London’s Mondrian Hotel roof bar, the pair snogged.
An insider said: “Kem is pretty smitten, he thinks Kendall is really sweet and she is just his type. They plan on meeting again soon.”
It’s a match made in reality TV heaven.
JAMIE OLIVER has been troubled by having to close some of his restaurants, and the death last year of mentor ANTONIO CARLUCCIO. He said: “I think it affects me in ways I can’t quite measure, it just has a little cloud over my life when it gets hard.”
Angry Rosie collars ad
HE has only been in the villa for just over a week but Adam Collard has already put his foot in it with partner Rosie Williams.
She was furious to discover he had flirted with Megan Barton Hanson behind her back, appearing to try to make a move on her.
But Megan was quick to tell Rosie about her private chat with the personal trainer.
Rosie later demanded answers from him, asking: “Do you want to tell me something? Something that happened today that you should have perhaps had the balls to tell me before?”
Good job Rosie couldn’t hear his beach hut comments, when he said moving to the “relationship bracket” in the villa with her “is not really on” and that Megan “intrigues him”.
He must think he has a shot with every woman on the island. I think he’s beyond tedious.
Elsewhere, confused Simon hands Peter a hospital photo of Susie that he found in Eva’s bag, and lodger Seb is told by Eileen that he’ll have to move out.
Chas is really struggling to keep it together in Emmerdale, Liv’s suspicions grow and Debbie is met with a fresh blow.
In Hollyoaks, Grace comes up with a ploy to learn the truth about who really killed her brother, and Kim is encouraged by Farrah to get up and out of the house.
C4 pulls plug on Damned
CHANNEL 4 bosses have got a funny way of showing their top talent how much they care.
The broadcaster has axed comedy Damned, which stars Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice host Jo Brand.
To make matters worse, the show is made by production company What Larks!, which was founded by Bake Off host Sandi Toksvig.
Channel 4 says it is calling time on Damned, which ran for two series and also featured QI regular Alan Davies, to create room in the schedules for more programmes.
A spokeswoman for the channel said: “Across two series of Damned, Jo Brand, Morwenna Banks and the What Larks! team created a warm, poignant, and pointed comedy of which we’re incredibly proud.
“However, with a number of other brand new comedy series already commissioned for 2019, there are currently no plans for a third series.”
