Also, Laurel Thomas will have to deal with an incredibly awkward situation when she is forced to join Brenda Walker on her hen do.
Few people in the village know that Laurel and Brenda’s husband-to-be, Bob Hope, had a steamy love affair and though Brenda knows about it herself, she has tried not to let it ruin her relationship.
So when Laurel is brought along, Brenda puts on a brave face and keeps up appearances for the sake of her party, organised by Rodney Blackstock’s quirky girlfriend Misty.
Doug Potts, Laurel’s dad, also gets involved in trying to persuade her to admit her feelings to Bob before it’s too late.
Meanwhile Bob has his stag do, where the stags gather at the pirate ship to remember their fallen comrade and Laurel’s husband, Ashley Thomas, who died not long ago.
Bob tells the lads he wants to be alone, so after some persuading they leave him to grieve for his friend and pine after his love, Laurel.
