Coronation Street reveals two new shocks for Aidan Connor's grieving family tonight

Warning: This article contains discussion of suicide, which some readers may find upsetting.

Coronation Street‘s Michelle Connor makes two surprising discoveries while searching through Aidan’s flat tonight (May 14).

Michelle (Kym Marsh) teams up with Carla to sort through some of Aidan’s belongings following his tragic death, knowing that Johnny is too grief-stricken to take on the sad task himself.

While looking through some boxes, Michelle comes across Aidan’s will and she’s left shellshocked when she sees the contents.

Last week, Coronation Street spoilers in the tabloids revealed that Aidan’s last wishes include Alya Nazir taking over from him at the factory – which will undoubtedly be bad news for the Connors.

Deciding that this bombshell would be too much for Johnny to cope with right now, Michelle hides the will and doesn’t even tell Carla what she’s found.

Michelle does confide in her fiancé Robert Preston, but what will he advise?

Meanwhile, among the boxes, Michelle also discovers the missing letter that Aidan sent to Johnny in February.

Corrie fans may remember that Aidan posted a suicide note to his father, but changed his mind and intercepted it after discovering that Carla needed a kidney transplant.

When the Connors finally read the letter – which simply says “I’m sorry, love Aidan” – will they realise that he originally planned to take his own life months ago?

Coronation Street airs these scenes tonight (May 14) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
