The Rovers Return landlord – who is played by actor Chris Gascoyne in the ITV soap – has no idea baby Susie isn't his daughter and is in fact Eva Price's with Aidan Connor, but this week on Corrie he will find Toyah crying and she will reveal everything.
She comes to the decision after realising that Eva, played by departing actress Catherine Tyldesley, and Susie need each other and pleads with Peter for his forgiveness, but will he be able to get past such a huge lie?
The tension in the Rovers comes to a head after Eva catches teen tearaway Simon Barlow and his friend Tyler smoking over Susie’s pram.
The lads had been talked into taking the baby for a walk, but when Eva spots them, she rushes over and tears a strip off them before marching away with Susie.
She tells Peter, Toyah and Leanne what happened, but Simon isn’t sorry, instead laying into Eva about how she treated Aidan Connor, blaming her for his death.
Eva is stunned and later, at Aidan’s funeral, it all gets too much for her when Johnny Connor talks about what a great dad his son would have made. Completely overwhelmed with everything that’s happened, Eva ends up rushing out of the church.
But it’s when Simon finds the hospital photo of Susie in Eva’s bag that Toyah, played by Georgia Taylor in the award-winning soap, realises the truth needs to come out.
She tells Peter that Susie is Eva and Aidan’s baby and that their child died. She explains the deal she made with Eva, leaving Peter absolutely floored.
Toyah says that Susie needs her real mum and hands her over to Eva before begging for Peter’s forgiveness. Will he be able to understand why she lied to him or is it over for them?
