Coronation Street: Viewers noticed something odd about Adam Barlow [ITV]
After his drug and alcohol-fuelled binge landed him in hospital, Daniel – played by Rob Mallard – turned to housemate and nephew Adam for comfort and care back home.
While Sam Robertson’s character assured Daniel that he won’t lose his job at the Bistro after the incident, viewers were a little distracted by Adam’s headwear.
Coronation Street fans took to social media to talk about his new red hat.
One wrote: “A hat in this weather? What up Adam?”

Several users were quick to draw comparisons between the lawyer and other household objects.
“Why has Adam turned into a gnome?” asked one account.

But many fans loved Adam’s new look and took to Twitter to express their attraction.
One gushed: “Adam Barlow in a beanie hat!!! I actually just involuntary made an ‘ohh’ sound!! #Corrie.”
“He looks SO hot,” praised another.
It isn’t the first time Adam’s left Corrie viewers confused as his joint decision with Robert to bundle an unconscious Daniel into the back of a van instead of calling an ambulance confused viewers.
