During a chat with Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard, Iain, who brought out his own pair of sparkly commentating headphones revealed: “I am now out of a job. I have got my own sparkly headphones and I’m free at the weekends, so if you ever need anyone, I’ll come and do it.”

Hinting that Matt, who is known for presenting ITV’s racing coverage and providing racing commentating, didn’t have the experience to provide the voice over for Dancing On Ice, Ben quipped: “Well that would give you more experience than the other guy.”
Insisting that he’s happy to jump in whenever, they need him, Iain looked into the camera and told the Dancing On Ice bosses: “My phone is always on guys.”
Matt’s exit comes after the presenter was criticised for his coverage of the first show of the series which saw celebrities including Candice Brown, Jake Quickenden and Kem Cetinay, take to the ice.
Many fans took to Twitter to share the news with many calling for him to be sacked from the position.
