DC’s Titans has officially rounded off its line-up for a huge crossover with the Doom Patrol.
The paramilitary hero team is perhaps one of the oddest factions in the DC Universe, since it’s made up of members with stranger powers that wouldn’t really fit well in the Suicide Squad or Justice League.
The live-action Titans show has already cast Jake Michaels as the tortured cyborg Robotman and April Bowlby as Elasti-Girl, along with Bruno Bichir as the Patrol’s fearless leader Chief.
Completing the line-up, according to Den of Geek, will be Star Trek: Discovery and The Strain standout Dwain Murphy as Larry Trainor (aka Negative Man).

Trainor is an ex-US Air Force pilot whose body is scorched when he accidentally flies into negative energy. Although he’s forced to wrap his body in bandages, Trainor gains the ability to project a flying ‘Soul Self’ made from negative energy.
The Doom Patrol are set to face off with Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) and his team of teen heroes in Titans’ fifth episode, which is being directed by Orphan Black‘s John Fawcett.
In comics lore, there’s always been a conflict between the two groups because Beast Boy — played by Ryan Potter in the new series — turned away from his adopted family in the Doom Patrol to join the Titans.
Titans is expected to launch alongside DC’s upcoming streaming service later in the year. Other shows being lined up include Young Justice, a Harley Quinn animated series and Superman prequel Metropolis.
