Josh Brolin has again been teasing his role as Cable in Deadpool 2.
Earlier this month, he showed off his workout routine as he gets into ripped shape for filming, and now as the sequel has started filming, Brolin has given a behind-the-scenes look at his make-up.
“Insanity on the brink. Face is morphing into something machine, fierce, hair sliced, arm machined, bulged. Where is Deadpool?!? Looking. Looking. All I got are these two… moulding me, prodding, turning me into something hard,” he wrote on the intense photo.
Brolin was cast as the time-travelling mutant assassin in April, with reports suggesting he’s signed a four-movie deal with 20th Century Fox.
It meant that he has got two big roles in the Marvel Universe as he already plays Thanos in the MCU, who will be the main villain in the upcoming Avengers team-up movie Infinity War.
Brolin will star alongside the returning Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and fellow newcomers Zazie Beetz, Jack Kesy, Japanese actress Shioli Kutsana and Hunt for the Wilderpeople‘s Julian Dennison.
Deadpool 2 started filming earlier this week, although we still don’t know any confirmed plot details.
Reynolds has, however, been teasing possible cameos, such as when he shared a photo of Deadpool’s visit to Charles Xavier’s mansion, writing: “Dropped by the X-Mansion. Big f**king surprise. No-one’s home.”
Deadpool 2 is set to be released in cinemas on June 1, 2018.
