Disney has removed actor and comedian Louis CK from an episode of its animated series Gravity Falls in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations brought against him.
Louis voiced The Horrifying Sweaty One-Armed Monstrosity in the series’ final episode ‘Weirdmageddon’.
A spokesperson for the Disney Channel confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the role of the giant disembodied head has been “re-recorded”, with series creator Alex Hirsch voicing the part.
“The role was re-recorded approximately one month ago and new versions of three episodes are now on the Disney XD schedule around the world,” a statement read.
“Series creator and executive producer Alex Hirsch is now credited as playing the character.”
Disney’s decision to cut CK out of Gravity Falls is one of many cancelled projects for the comedian, who has also been dropped from The Secret Life of Pets 2.
CK was signed on to reprise his role as Max the Jack Russell terrier in the sequel to last year’s animated comedy, which is scheduled to open on June 7, 2019.
However, in light of the claims made by five women against CK – and his subsequent admission of guilt – movie producers announced that they were officially dropping him from the project.
The news comes after it was revealed that Louis is attempting to buy back the rights to his now-dropped movie I Love You, Daddy, which was pulled by its distributor The Orchard.

Despite initially refusing to comment on the allegations that surfaced earlier this year, CK later admitted that they were true in a full statement.
“The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly,” he said.
“I’ve brought pain to my family, my friends, my children and their mother, I have spent my long and lucky career talking and saying anything I want. I will now step back and take a long time to listen.”
