EastEnders spoilers: Abi Branning’s devastating diagnosis revealed: The doctor explained that Abi would never wake up [BBC]
On the episode of EastEnders, viewers eagerly awaited to hear the fate of Lauren and Abi Branning after they seemingly fell to their deaths off the Queen Vic roof after trying to coax down their father Max Branning, in scenes that mirrored the death of their brother Bradley Branning.
The aftermath of the horrific accident played out on Boxing Day, with both sisters left fighting for their lives – with Lauren rushed into surgery and pregnant Abi with a suspected brain injury.
But at the beginning of Thursday’s episode, it was revealed that Lauren had survived the horror fall and her surgery had gone well.
Unfortunately the same couldn’t be said for Abi as Max Branning was given the devastating news that his youngest daughter, who is seven months pregnant, wasn’t ever going to recover from the horrific fall and has zero chance of regaining consciousness.
