EastEnders fans were confused about Martin Fowler’s remark about ‘Luke’ [BBC]
EastEnders fans were left confused during Tuesday’s episode of the BBC soap, as Martin Fowler made a comment about Luke.
James Bye’s character asked ex Sonia Fowler to manage his market stall, revealing someone named Luke was sick.
While fans were confused, believing Shrimpy would normally cover the stall and not Luke, others were more quizzical over Martin’s comments.
Fans wanted to know who Luke was, with many wondering whether he could be referring to Luke Browning, played Adam Astill.

This is not likely to be the case, as Luke worked for James Willmott-Brown’s company which was against Walford and the market.
Luke did not work on the market and was in no way connected to Martin, so who is the Luke that Martin was referring to?
One confused fan tweeted: “Who is Luke? He doesn’t cover the stalls Martin, that’s Shrimpy’s job!”
Others were also confused, while Martin failed to explain who the mystery character was.

Meanwhile, fans have grown concerned for Luke Browning after he has remained missing for months.
Luke was kidnapped by Phil Mitchell and Aidan Maguire a few months ago, and hasn’t been heard from since – despite his exit.
Fans joked they had found the character recently, after actor Adam was spotted in CBeebies show Andy’s Safari Adventure.
It’s not known if Luke was killed off, or if he just left – with fans asking what happened to him.
