EastEnders' Mick Carter faces another big drama with Stuart Highway tonight

EastEnders landlord Mick Carter faces a difficult dilemma tonight (June 18) as Stuart Highway tries to get him involved in his fight against paedophiles.

Last week, Mick (Danny Dyer) was shocked to discover that Stuart devotes his time to investigating and exposing predators – but things go a step further this evening when he’s asked to join the cause too.

As they meet up in the cafe, Mick is intrigued when Stuart (Ricky Champ) admits that he wants him to help with his next mission.

Stuart insists that he’s not a vigilante as there’s no violence involved with his actions – he just confronts his targets with the evidence that he’s gathered against them.

Having already witnessed one of Stuart’s plans unfold last week, Mick still isn’t sure what to think – but he’ll have to decide pretty quickly as Stuart is keen to get going with his next trap.

Will Mick agree to help his friend and potentially put himself in danger in the process?

Also ahead on Albert Square tonight, Max Branning (Jake Wood) feels the pressure as he ploughs ahead with his desperate attempts to win custody of his baby granddaughter Abi.

After failed attempts to get Masood Ahmed and Karen Taylor to give him a positive character reference, Max turns to his ex-girlfriend Carmel Kazemi for help – provoking some strong words from her in response.

Hayley Slater is also up to no good when she steals tools from The Arches in order to fix up Charlie’s old cab and sell it, but will her dodgy antics ruin a potential friendship with mechanic Keanu Taylor?

EastEnders airs tonight at 9.25pm on BBC One. See the show’s full World Cup schedule changes here.
