EastEnders reveals more Halfway twists as Mick Carter's attacker is revealed

EastEnders dropped more clues about Halfway’s secret tonight (May 10) after his brother Stuart returned to Walford.

The BBC soap have cast Him & Her star Ricky Champ in the role of Stuart – who was revealed to be the man responsible for ambushing Mick Carter in Tuesday’s cliffhanger.

Thankfully, it turns out that the attack was actually all one big joke, with Mick immediately recognising the masked man as his old friend.

As Mick and Stuart started to reminisce, the topic of Halfway’s injuries soon came up – with Stuart appearing suspicious when his sibling was branded a hero.

Halfway has claimed that his injury came about when he risked his own life to save three children, but it’s since become clear that he hasn’t been telling the full story.

Not only did Halfway warn Mick that things aren’t as they seemed with Stuart, but the newcomer’s true colours became all the more apparent in a dark scene later on.

A drunk Stuart’s facade started to slip as he turned nasty with Halfway upstairs at The Vic – aggressively accusing him of lying about his injuries.

Stuart insisted that he knew Halfway wasn’t a hero and demanded to know what really happened. What is Halfway hiding? And how will Mick react when he finds out?

EastEnders continues on Friday, May 11 at 8pm on BBC One.
