However, just while the family’s surviving members – Ross and Pete Barton – are coping with the grief of losing their mother and brother just one year on after their father James Barton died, they’re hit with further devastating news on next week’s episodes.
During the Autumn stunt week that took place, Emma accidentally shot and killed Finn after snatching Adam Barton’s gun off him, and as a consequence, the farmer was arrested for the crime – despite protesting his innocence and claiming it was the unhinged nurse.
But on next week’s episodes, the police inform Ross that they have evidence that it was actually Emma who shot Finn, with all charges against Adam dropped.
