The first Love Island kiss is usually a moment of joy but this year it has been horrifically tainted.
Adam Collard sent shockwaves through the villa by controversially choosing to couple up with Kendall Rae-Knight.
Just moments after leaving heartbroken Niall Aslam in the villa the pair were getting very close on their first date.
The personal trainer and shoe shop worker were slammed for their muggy behaviour and branded ‘snakes’ by furious viewers.
To make matters worse, Kendall then seemed to suggest to Niall she wanted his personality with Adam’s body.
Speaking afterwards, Kendall said: "The date went really well actually I feel really comfortable with him. Obviously I am attracted to him he’s very easy on the eye."
Sheepish Kendall and Adam failed to tell the rest of the Islanders that they had shared a kiss over dinner.
Taking Hayley to one side, she said: "The chat with Niall, we get on like you wouldn’t believe. He is so energetic. We just clicked. I feel like Adam maybe is too good to be true."
Niall and Kendall went away for a private chat, where she she sighed when he said he wanted to get to know her more.
"My head is all over the place I don’t know," said Kendall.
Heading off to chat to the lads, Niall said: "I feel like that’s muggy thing to say."
There were then tears before bedtime as Kendall cried over the awkward situation.
Fuming viewers took to Twitter after watching the newly formed couple kiss.
One viewer said: "Snakes don’t hiss they kiss Adam on dates after they just said they liked Niall"
Another added: "Really feel sorry for Niall I can’t believe she did that so shocked didn’t think she was like that, both Adam and Kendall are two faced and fake"
A third said: "We’re half way through the episode and NOTHING has happened other than watching two snakes"
