Frozen 2 fans aren’t happy with the release date [Disney]
The Frozen sequel’s release date was finally confirmed this week, and of course fans were excited.
But once they realised the film – starring Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel as Anna and Elsa – wouldn’t be in cinemas until the end of 2019, that happiness quickly turned to misery.
“I gotta wait two years for Frozen 2????? Whattttt,” tweeted one fan, while another wrote, “What do you mean we have to wait until 2019 for Frozen 2???”
Another Disney fan wrote: “The fact we have to wait till 2019 for Frozen 2 is outrageous.”
While another disappointed fan said, “We have to wait far too long for all these Disney films to be released, it’s not fair. Cannot wait 2 and a half years for Frozen 2.”
These Disney fans aren’t the only ones disappointed with the studio, as some are stilling waiting for a Tangled sequel.
“Frozen 2 is coming but all i need is a Tangled 2,” tweeted one fan.
Another tweeted, “frozen 2 supporters, ‘m really happy for u & i’ma let you finish but tangled is the best disney movie of all time (and deserves a part 2) (sic).”
The Frozen 2 news has also reignited the campaign to make Elsa gay.
“If Elsa isn’t gay put Frozen 2 away,” is one of the tweets sent by fans urging Disney to make the ice queen the first princess to have a same-sex relationship.
Frozen 2 is out in cinemas on November 27, 2019.
