There are two kinds of Game of Thrones fans in this world: those who watched season three’s ‘The Rains of Castermere’ and were suitably traumatised, and those who watched it and thought that Lord Frey was actually a pretty great host.
You know, up until the massacre.
Well, if you’re part of the latter group, you’re in luck as this Halloween (October 31), pop-up restaurant Supper Club UK are putting on a Game of Thrones-themed ‘Red Wedding Halloween Dinner’ for an immersive (and, we imagine, gruesome) dining experience to remember on the spookiest night of the year.
During the experience, the story will unfold around guests who are there to celebrate the wedding of Edmure Tully and Roslin Frey.
Your ticket will see you greeted at the entrance with salt and bread – a sign that Lord Frey ensures your safety – and given three glasses of wine or ale to enjoy alongside a magnificent five-course banquet.
The feast will be accompanied by live music and roaming entertainment, with a confirmed guest list that includes host Lord Walder Frey, “trustworthy gentleman” Roose Bolton, King of the North Robb Stark and his wife Talisa. What could possibly go wrong?

The event is being held at Proud Cabaret City in London on Tuesday, October 31 and tickets are priced from £65 and available to book now – so what better way is there to while away the wait before the eighth and final season drops?
Or, for a different kind of immersive experience to while away the months, you can always download the official new Thrones app Conquest and create your own Westeros House and accompanying army.
Game of Thrones airs on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK. Pre-order the season 7 DVD or Blu-ray, or buy a digital download here.
