Honey, we have some great news for you! It looks like the impending Will & Grace revival is gearing up to be extended even further. Martinis all round!
The long-awaited reunion was originally scheduled for 10 episodes, which has since been increased to 12 – and now it might go beyond that.
According to Deadline, NBC’s chairman Bob Greenblatt recently admitted that more episodes of the iconic comedy beyond its ninth season are “possible”.
“It’s my hope that we will have more than that,” he added. (And it’s ours, too.)
Just yesterday (May 14), NBC announced that Will & Grace would be back on US screens this autumn, airing on Thursday nights alongside sitcom This Is Us.
And if that wasn’t exciting enough, then the news that the show’s first official trailer is due to drop today(!) should be.
Grace (Debra Messing) shared the briefest of teasers with fans before the weekend, announcing that a trailer would be coming on Monday. “Oh honey, we’re back!” she tweeted.

Appearing on Loose Women earlier this month, Karen (Megan Mullally) revealed the significance of Will & Grace‘s comeback, as well as what fans can expect from the new season.
“It’s never happened before in the history of half-hour network television,” she said. “In the States, they’ve never brought a show back – the same exact show [with the] same cast, same director, same lighting designer.
“The main priority is to have it be funny, and then I think it just goes from there.”
