Love Island: Harley Judge has become the first contestant to leave the 2017 series [ITV]
The hunk was left single in the first Love Island re-coupling of the series after he was ditched by both Chloe Crowhurst and Camilla Thurlow.
With Chloe and Camilla still uncertain as to the choices they would be making, Harley, along with new boys Chris Hughes and Jonny Mitchell, saw his future hanging in the balance.
After much speculation throughout the week about when the next re-coupling would be, confirmation came when the girls received a text.
As the realisation dawned that their time was running out, Jonny was resolute that his days in the villa were numbered.

He told the Beach Hut: “I’m relatively sure I’ll be going home tomorrow.”
Meanwhile Harley surmised Chloe and Camilla’s predicament, saying: “Chloe and Camilla have got the two hardest decisions out of everybody.”
For Camilla, the burden of sending a boy home was proving difficult, as she confessed to the Beach Hut: “If it is a situation where it might be myself sending one of the boys home I do not feel good about that, at all.
“They are lovely people, interesting people. I don’t think anyone wants to see anyone leave and so to be the person who has to make the final decision would be horrible. Awful.”

Chloe was also in limbo and, in spite of her kiss with Chris the night before, and the obvious attraction developing between them, she remained uncertain as she questioned her loyalties to Harley.
“I do feel torn, because part of me is like ‘look, my loyalties lie with Harley’ and then the other part of me is like ‘I’ve come here to find somebody’ and Chris is the person that I have a connection with, and Harley’s the friend,” she explained.
With time ticking by, Chloe confessed her decision was far from certain, saying: “If the re-coupling was right this second, I have no idea who I would choose. No idea.”
Both Harley and Jonny made a last minute plea to Camilla to take them forward with her.
