Former Emmerdale star Joe Gill has revealed how Finn Barton would have reacted to his brother Ross’s acid attack.
Ross’s life was changed forever when he was assaulted by Simon under the guidance of Debbie, who is still lying about the attack.
And now Gill, who played Finn on the show until his character tragically passed away last year, has recently revealed the advice and support Finn would have given Ross during his difficult time.
“Finn would probably be sarcastic with it all and say ‘at least I’m not the ugliest one out of us now’,” he told OK! Online.
“He’d have so much banter. He would tell Ross: ‘look mate, I’ve worn glasses all my life, no one fancies me, I’ve never had a boyfriend…’
“With Ross, he has a certain way with the ladies so Finn would probably say ‘look, I’m sure you’re not gonna struggle – at least you’re not me!'”
Tonight’s episode (March 14) saw police close in on Simon and ask Ross to identify him from a series of photographs.
So, will Ross ever find out the truth? Stay tuned.
