I’m A Celebrity 2017 is kicking off this Sunday on ITV[ITV]
Only recently, Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine, 33, and Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas, 42, were announced as contestants on the star-studded I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2017 line-up.
The soap stars join the likes of boxer Amir Khan, The Saturdays singer Vanessa White and Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo – among others.
However, according to the bookies, Jennie and Jamie have already become firm early favourites to be crowned the king or queen of the jungle.
Jennie, who is the 4-1 favourite, has been the most popular selection with leading bookmaker Coral, to win I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! 2017 ahead of the show launch on Sunday.

While Jamie is locked at the top of the betting with the Corrie actress at 4-1 too, while Jack Maynard is 6-1 and Amir is the complete outsider at 16-1.
However, the boxer is the 2-1 favourite to perform the most Bushtucker Trials during the series, with Rebekah Vardy at 3-1 and Dennis Wise at 4-1.
“Over 60% of all bets we have taken in the outright market for I’m a Celeb so far have been for Jennie McAlpine therefor it is fair to say she is a popular favourite going into the new series,” said Coral’s John Hill.
Just today, the official star-studded line-up was confirmed and revealed – after much speculation.
