The host, who had been joined by Jessica Shears and Mike Thalassitis on the show, started speculation that something big was going to happen when she was sent a text announcing that she need to head back into the villa.
“Ooo I got a text. ‘Caroline, just when the islanders thought it was safe, we need you back this week for Love Island’s biggest twist ever! #Flack Attack #TooGoodToMiss #ItsAboutToGetReal’,” she read out.
“There’s no way I’m going to turn that down.”
While there was no other clue as to what the twist would be, Caroline called for Mike to join her, leading to many thinking that he was going to re-enter to face Dominic Lever following the rumours that he slept with Jessica Shears after their shock exit from the show.

“Right I have got plane to catch… come on Mike, let’s go!”
While Caroline sent Twitter into a frenzy over a possible reappearance from Mike, a Love Islander insider revealed that there are no plans to put Mike back in the villa with everyone.
“There’s no plans for Mike to go back into the villa right now but you can never rule anything out,” they told The Sun.
During the spin-off show, Jess and Mike appeared happy and relaxed as they hit back at the claims that they had sex.
However, away from the cameras and the studio, Jess was seen breaking down in tears when she watched the footage of the Islanders finding out about the rumours.

Upset that she wasn’t able to explain herself to Dom in person, the eliminated Islander said: “It’s making me so angry.
“I can’t tell the person – the only person I care about – the truth, because he’s stuck in the villa.”
Although Jess’ tears caused a debate with viewers who alleged that they weren’t real.

“I don’t buy Jess’ tears one bit. #LoveIsland #LoveIslandAfterSun,” came the response from one user of the social media site.

Fans even called Jessica and Mike out for lying about sleeping together when they spotted Jessica resting her hand on Mike’s leg.
