Following a new twist earlier in the week which saw 11 new contestants arrive on the show before being split up and given a series of tasks, it has been confirmed that their time on the show has come to an end.

However, they could be saved if one of the original Islanders save them by coupling up with them.

And the ones who aren’t chosen will be dumped immediately in the shock twist.

With so many stars at risk of heading back to the UK sooner than they thought, it appears one star will be staying put in the Spanish villa for a little while longer.

Having arrived in the villa and ruffled a few feathers when Jonny Mitchell chose her over Camilla Thurlow, Tyla Carr will be exempt from the latest recoupling because she is single.

According to the Mirror, a show source said that the TV star was “safe in this particular recoupling.”

Amid the drama which is set to unfold in the latest episode of the hit ITV2 show, speculation has been rife about who is in danger of leaving.

After angering fans over his behaviour towards Camilla and leaving her heartbroken, Jonny could find himself flying home as Camilla has moved on with Love Island newbie Craig Lawson.

Dominic Lever could also be at risk after recoupling with Montana Brown, who has since moved on with Alex Beattie.

In a recent episode, the Islander, who vowed to remain loyal to Jessica Shears was seen telling new Islanders that he didn’t want to get with anyone else in the villa.

During a conversation with Ellisha-Jade and Shannen, he said: “If it hasn’t happened, it hasn’t happened, but I’d rather be true to myself than stay in here and get with someone in here, come out and she’d be heartbroken.”
